It is expected, given recent government guidelines, that from Monday 9th August social-distancing restrictions in church will be lifted whilst the requirement to wear a face-covering will remain. At the time of publishing this schedule no specific further guidance has been issued by the diocese. Sanitising protocols will remain in place and all should be assured of the strict adherence to these requirements.

Mr. James Ferrier R.I.P.

Dear parishioners, of your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Mr. James Ferrier a dear parishioner of St. James’, Kinross, who has sadly passed away. I also ask you to pray, please, for his dear wife Cathie at this very sad time, and for their sons, asking that the Good Lord be their comfort and consolation in their grief. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. St James and St. Matthew, pray for him. I will offer the 10.00a.m. Mass this morning for the happy repose of James’ soul.
